Avelo and Shearwater will guide participating businesses through the next steps towards becoming an Avelo Dive Centre.

WHY DIVING AVELO MATTERS

Unlike a traditional BCD or wing, the Avelo System uses water from the surrounding environment to manage buoyancy through its revolutionary Hydrotank. This means no buoyancy changes with changing depth and a lot less lead is required.

Flights are additional and must be booked separately.

Training Courses: Avelo Essentials & Prerequisites + Avelo Instructor Course. Candidates must already be a certified SCUBA instructor.

Additional 2 days/2 nights. Additional cost of $735 USD / $1025 CAD

Technician Candidate requirements:

Scuba Equipment Technician Experience: At least one (1) valid repair certificate from a recognized manufacturer.
Tank Testing Experience: Familiarity with tank testing procedures, including visual and hydrostatic testing. Certification as a visual inspector from a recognized training agency is required.
