Żibel is a voluntary organisation and environmental NGO dedicated to reducing waste and restoring Malta’s natural environments. Through monthly clean-ups, ghost net recovery, education, and community engagement, it tackles marine pollution both directly and at its source. By combining hands-on action with research, awareness, and collaboration with industry and policymakers, Żibel works toward long-term, systemic solutions that protect ecosystems and reduce the impact of waste on coastal and marine life.
